Bathroom Fitting Price Lists

Are you interested in price lists for the different bathroom fitting materials?

What makes price lists vary for bathroom fitting?

Depending on what material you choose, and the quality associated with it, your price list will change drastically. Some materials and objects are very cheap, such as cupboards and door handles. That being said, baths, showers, toilets, are where the price lists start getting more expensive. Let's go through these different price lists below.

Ceramic

Known for its durability and waterproof advantages, ceramic is a material we tend to see a lot in new bathrooms. There is often a large selection of colours and patterns, so it can fit any design.

Price wise, ceramic generally costs anywhere from £10-£30 per square metre. For higher end tiles, you might be looking at prices close to £40 per m2.

Porcelain

Porcelain is derived from ceramic, and is supposed to be even more resistant. This means a lot of households choose porcelain.

Porcelain ranges from £15-£30 per square metre, in general. This will depend on size, quantity, and quality of the specific porcelain object.

Plastic

Plastic is a more affordable choice for your washroom, it is easily customisable, so you can blend it in with any style.

For plastic, you are probably going to be looking at £5 to £50 per square metre. This widely varies depending on what object you are looking for. Although, most bathroom fitters are very clever with which plastic objects they choose to buy, and end up saving a lot of money.

Glass

Glass is a more modern choice for bathroom fittings, it is higher end, and can be a real statement for the overall feel of the room.

There are only so many objects that come in glass for bathrooms. For example, glass doors start at around £150, whereas glass walls usually aren't cheaper than £500.

Metal

Metal is popular thanks to its resistance and durability. It is also chosen because of its many finishes, including brass, stainless steel, and chrome.

Metal objects can be very different to each other in price, generally, any metal object will fall between £200 and £2,000. Some very small objects will be cheaper, of course, but you will struggle to find anything more expensive than £2,000.

Hopefully this price guide helps you select your materials and objects wisely.

We do recommend getting multiple quotes with numerous suppliers, to avoid paying more than you should be, at least that's what we tend to do for our projects. Some materials and fittings are also subject to availability throughout the year, making their price vary from time to time. In that sense, you should be careful when you buy certain materials, as you might spend more than anticipated.
